A brief note on some of the films & filmmakers, venue, dates, etc.








We will have the festival website & all final info re: the fest up on the web soon.  Check this blog for the links then.

Breakthrough Festival - happening June 12 - 18 - will screen Sujewa Ekanayake's new feature length film Breakthrough Weekend - a NYC detective comedy, Boodee Keerthisena's features Matha (about the Sri Lankan civil war) & Mille Soya (about Sri Lankan immigrants in Italy), Chris Hansen's feature Where We Started - a romantic drama, Angelo Bell's feature Resurrection of Serious Rogers - an action comedy, Little Fishes by Alexia Anastasio - a feature romantic drama, and several short films.

The festival will take June 12-18 at Anthology film archives in Lower East Side, Manhattan (the festival is renting space from Anthology so contact the festival re: any questions related to the festivals, not Anthology.  Festival contact info coming on 3/31, in the meantime you can e-mail the festival organizer & programmer Sujewa Ekanayake with any questions at wilddiner@gmail.com).
